The ice has held up nicely, still 14 to 16 inches in most areas. The crappies are starting to come up out of the 38 foot troughs, I'm hearing 26 to 32 feet. Report today of 16 good inches of ice out in front of Crain Island, with Crappies and perch biting at 32 feet.
Reports from the weekend that you could see some ice sage where the pickup trucks were parked. With the added weight of the wet snow I think we are getting close to leaving the heavier vehicles on shore.
Becareful out there, please report ice conditions.
Good luck and remember to clean up after yourselfs.
RushLake Improvment Association clean up day is set for the 10th, dumpsters will be provided. I have bags at the store.
It would be nice to have more up to the date reports from you folks who are out on the ice. With the warming weather lets keep safe, report often. You can report on face book and on Minnesota outdoorsman.com
Thankyou, Your Friends at the RushPoint Store!
